Back in October of 2011, after 9 years of America being at war with Iraq, US President Barack Hussein Obama declared that the war was over and that by years end all troops would be withdrawn from the country. At the time Obama was gearing up for his 2012 re-election campaign, and to add ending the war in Iraq to his list of accomplishments was paramount. Well here we are nearly 3 years later and the war in Iraq has yet to go away. On Monday June 16th, President Obama announced that US ground troops 'equipped for combat' are being sent to Iraq.
This troop deployment comes at the behest of an Obama issued executive order, which the president has often invoked to bypass getting congressional approval. The move comes as jihadists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) battle Iraqi security forces for control of a strategic northern town, and Washington weighs possible drone strikes against the militants. The ISIS fighters have taken control of a swath of territory north of Baghdad in a drive towards the Iraqi capital launched a week ago. A White House official also said Monday that the Obama administration is considering the deployment of a small contingent of Special Forces to Iraq, specifically to help Nouri al-Maliki's government slow the advance of the Sunni insurgents.
Isaiah 42:13 - The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. [14] I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
The Most High is stirring up the turmoil and conflict in Iraq once again. For a long time the white man in America has gone unharmed and unmitigated in his endeavors to conquer, control, and wreak havoc around the planet. The Most High is working through the Middle Eastern powers to bring devastation to America, he is no longer holding his peace, and now is the time for America's judgment. There will be no ending to America's war with countries in the Middle East.
Back in 2001 when America first entered into Afghanistan, General Yahanna and the men of the ISUPK, prophesied that America wouldn't be able to withdraw from conflict in the region. Since that time America has gone to war with Iraq, squelched an uprising in Egypt, toppled the Gaddafi gov't in Libya, and supported rebels in a Syrian civil war. 13 years later and America is right back where its first Middle Eastern war started. This time it isn't Saddam Hussein, but the sunni militants of ISIS.
Back in 2001 America had no real reason to go to war with Iraq. Despite their failed attempts to make a connection between 911 and Saddam Hussein, America invaded Iraq based on an unproven claim that the country was hoarding weapons of mass destruction. By toppling the stable government that Hussein had in place, America thrusted the nation and its many different ethnic groups into a perpetual civil war. That civil war has resulted in the recent push by the ISIS militants towards the Capital city of Baghdad, where the US embassy sits.
Recently the militants released pictures of what was claimed to be a mass killing of Iraqi soldiers captured as militants took over two Iraqi cities last week.The army of militants shocked the world on Saturday by releasing horrific video of what it claimed were dozens of Iraqi soldiers they had taken as prisoners. Reports have emerged that they summarily executed 1,400 of the men. Pictures posted on a militant website appear to show masked ISIS fighters forcing captives to lie down in a shallow ditch. Further photos appear to show the bodies of the men soaked in blood after being shot.
Isaiah 34:1 - Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. [2] For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. [3] Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
The Most High is calling all the earth's attention to what is being done in the Middle East. An example is going to be made out of all the nations that will be drawn to this battleground for WWIII. The anger and fury of the Most High is upon the Arabs, the Europeans, the Africans, and the Chinese, and they shall all be destroyed. With modern technology, and the 24 hour news media covering these conflicts, all the earth will bear witness to the fulfillment of biblical prophecy in these wars.
Isaiah 33:1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
Destruction is coming to America for the way that it has dealt treacherously with other nations; spoiling them through war, economic & political manipulation. Now that the time is coming for America to seek to ends its treachery and spoil of those nations, the shoe is now on the other foot, so to speak.
The bottom line is that America cannot afford a full out war with Iraq right now. With the economy in a recession, armed forces enlistment at an all time low, and low approval ratings over the Obama administration's handling of other international conflicts, the patience of Americans are running thin. Couple this with the threat of war in Africa, Iran gaining nuclear capabilities, and China & Russia breaking away from the US dollar as its trade currency, America's strangle hold on international affairs is at its demise.
