Nearly two weeks ago an unarmed, 18 year old black male was gunned down in the streets of an apartment complex by a police officer in the city of Ferguson, Missouri. The killing of Michael Brown sparked massive outrage and protest by the so called African American community, not only in Ferguson, MO but in major cities all over the US. The reaction to these protest by police, along with the way the shooting investigation has been handled in the public has generated a racially charged atmosphere in Ferguson.
Proverbs 29:2 - When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
The wicked is in rulership all over this country that we call America, and it is why innocent black, Latino, and Native American Indian men and women are continually harassed, profiled, and killed by law enforcement. There is mourning in the streets of Ferguson, MO today because the wicked are killing innocent people. If this nation was established with righteous laws, having servants of the Most High in authority, then America wouldn't be the hell hole that it is.
In the days following the shooting, police were very hesitant to release the name of the officer responsible for the shooting. When they finally did release his name, they also released a supposed video of Michael Brown getting into an altercation at a local convenience store. This attempt to paint the victim as a criminal, further enraged the so called black community because it had nothing to do with Brown being shot in the street. The St. Louis county police chief then shamed his department when he acknowledged that the officer who shot brown knew nothing of the incident that occurred at the convenience store.
Ferguson, MO is a town that is nearly 2/3rds so called African American, but the police force, which has 58 officers on the squad is comprised of, and this quote comes from the mayor, "five blacks, a Hispanic, and 2 Pacific islanders." So that means the other 50 officers are white. But according to the mayor there isn't a racism issue in his town!
The residents of Ferguson, MO have been telling their story to the news media with all the attention focused on their town. One brother who was interviewed said, "the cop harassment is frequent, it's all through the day and all through the night. They aren't being us physically, but they are doing it verbally." Police statistics in Ferguson support resident complaints showing that 86% of police stops, 92% of police searches, and nearly 93% or arrests all target blacks. Although more whites have been caught with contraband.
Ecclesiastes 7:7 - Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.
A man who is wise will never be happy while being oppressed, and only a gift or bribe could make a person being oppressed, take the side of his oppressors.
The people of Ferguson, MO have been oppressed for years, and the shooting of Michael Brown seems to have been the straw that broke the camels back. For 9 days since the shooting, people have taken to the streets to demand justice and express their outrage over how the local police have handled the situation. At night some of these protest have turned into looting, and clashes with police. When asked why they were looting the stores in their neighborhood, one of the local residents responded by saying that the people are frustrated, and that burning things down was the only way they felt they'd get the attention they deserved.
In past years with incidents such as the shooting of Trayvon Martin, to quell rising tensions and pacify the angry mobs, America has turned to their puppets such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. But the people in Ferguson aren't buying it. Al Sharpton was greeted with graffiti tags of "snitches get stitches" while Jesse Jackson got booed when he tried to speak to a crowd of protesters.
Isaiah 59:14 - And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
Judgment is turned away backward for Israelites in America, and justice is nowhere in sight. The truth of our brothers and sisters being murdered by the police dies with them insight the street and there is no equality in the American justice system for us.
On Sunday August 17th a citywide curfew was put into place by the Governor of Missouri. A show of military style force was displayed by the St. Louis county police, including tear gas, stun grenades, and rubber bullets being shot at protesters. These aren't people with guns, threatening to kill, fight, or war with the police. These are people who want answers for what Is an obvious crime.
On Monday August 18th a private autopsy of Michael Brown's body was released released to his family. It showed that Brown had been shot 6 times, twice in the head, with all bullets striking from the front. This means that unarmed brown was shot execution style, by a police officer that he clearly was not not a threat to. This is murder, but the likelihood that justice is served by the police, state's attorney and judges of Missouri are slim to none.
Justice for so called blacks, Latinos, and Native American Indians can only come from from the Most High. In Obadiah the 10th verse, the Most High prophesied destruction on on the white race for all the violence they've displayed against the children of Israel. In Revelation 19:11 we are shown that when Christ returns, he is going to judge the earth and make war with all the enemies of the Most High. This is when we will receive true justice, but you must be found righteous to escape the punishment that is coming to this earth. The ISUPK is where all Israel will learn how to serve the Most High and Christ in truth and righteousness.
