Punished for Poverty

Shalam Israel, We are the original Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge, out of 1 West 125th St. Harlem, NYC, since 1969. The HOME OF THE TRUTH! In the Spirit of the Most High, in the name of Christ under Commanding General Yahanna, we have dedicated and hazarded our lives to bringing the 12 Tribes of the nation of Israel back to the Father in spirit and truth.  The people of Negro, and Indian descent, scattered throughout North, South, Central America and the West Indian Islands are the Lost 12 Tribes of Israel.  Wherever we are; in the ghettos, the barrios, the reservations or shanty towns; on the web, and in our everyday lives we strive to wake up our people.

On February 26th, 2012 an 18 year old black male named Trayvon Martin was gunned down in South Florida. The death of this young man received national media attention because the shooter was a neighborhood watchman of the suburban community where Martin's father lived. Martin was unarmed, but an audio recording of his killer revealed that being black, with a hoodie on at night made the teen a suspect. Several months later, with all the publicity the case had received, Trayvon's killer walked away not-guilty.

It's been just over 3 years since the shooting death of Trayvon Martin; 3 years that has seen an unprecedented number of unarmed black males murdered at the hands of law enforcement. Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Akai Gurley, and Tamir Rice are just a few of the countless brothers to have been unjustly gunned down by police in recent months. On Sunday March 2nd an unnamed, homeless man in Los Angeles was added to this list.

The incident was all caught on video, 4 LAPD officers wrestle to subdue the man, once they get him on the ground, one officer stands up, pulls out his gun, and let's off 5 or 6 rounds. The police would later say that the man was reaching for one of the officers pistols, but witnesses, including the man recording the video, say there was no reason at all for the police to shoot the man.

Psalm 10:2 - The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

The so called white man is the wicked that the bible speaks of; the pride of his wealth and riches has him to oppress and criminalize the poor. Though they plan and perpetuate evil on the downtrodden of this world, they will be destroyed by their own doing.

The incident which resulted in the homeless man being shot to death, was apart of a police sweep of the "skid row" portion of downtown Los Angeles. The neighborhood is dubbed "skid row" due to its stable population of homeless, alcoholics, drug addicts, and vagrants. The sidewalks are lined with cardboard boxes, makeshift tents, and shopping carts. The LAPD routinely does sweeps through different parts of this neighborhood, removing and arresting those living on the streets citing a "anti-camping" ordinance. Under the oppression of the white man, here in America poverty makes you a criminal.

"An area resident, who identified himself as Booker T. Washington, said police had come by repeatedly to ask Africa(victim) to take down his tent. People are allowed to sleep on the streets from 9 p.m to 6 a.m., but they are supposed to remove their tents in the daytime under a court agreement.

Ecclesiastes 4:1 - So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

With all the oppression that is done on the earth, there is no comforter for the oppressed of our people who aren't in the truth. There is no comforter for the families of blacks and Latinos murdered in cold blood at the hands of those given authority in this society. But the white man has the power of his corrupt gov't, crooked police, and unbalanced judicial system on his side.

The white man has, and always will had a deep rooted hatred for our people. From the earliest days of the Transatlantic slave trade up to the present violence, and cruelty, is the only consistent treatment that we've received. Throughout various periods of our history under the rulership of the white man here in America, those in power have made attempts to mask hide their hatred of us, but it continues to rise to the surface.

In times past, perpetrators of crimes against blacks and Latinos were at least indicted and tried in court to determine their guilt. This was the case with the officers who beat Rodney King; but since the killing of Trayvon Martin, law enforcement officers that have killed unarmed black men have failed to even be indicted by a Grand Jury. 400 years being in a system that is not broken, but was never designed to benefit us in the first place.

Psalm 109:15 - Let them be before the Lord continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
16 - Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

It should be the prayer of every Israelite today, as it was in the past, that the Most High sees the suffering of his people and destroys our enemies before our eyes. The white man today has no mercy within him. He relentlessly attacks, murders, rapes, and robs those who already have been stripped of everything.

The so called white man is the devil that the bible speaks of, and every day we are given fresh examples of his cruelty and hatred of our people. There is nothing that can be done to appease the violent murderous nature of these devils. Michael Brown, Eric Garner, the brother in LA did nothing to warrant being shot down in the streets like a rabid animal. In 2015, those who stand behind the power of a police badge, has the authority to murder innocent black men. How long shall we continue to look for a judicial system to bring us justice, when it was built on enslaving and oppressing us?
