The Lynching of Lennon Lacy
Shalam Israel, We are the original Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge, out of 1 West 125th St. Harlem, NYC, since 1969. The HOME OF THE TRUTH! In the Spirit of the Most High, in the name of Christ under Commanding General Yahanna, we have dedicated and hazarded our lives to bringing the 12 Tribes of the nation of Israel back to the Father in spirit and truth. The people of Negro, and Indian descent, scattered throughout North, South, Central America and the West Indian Islands are the Lost 12 Tribes of Israel. Wherever we are; in the ghettos, the barrios, the reservations or shanty towns; on the web, and in our everyday lives we strive to wake up our people.
On August 29th, 2014 in the rural town of Bladenboro, North Carolina, the body of 17 year old Lennon Lacy was found hanging from a wooden swing set, about a quarter mile away from his house. Five days after Lennon Lacy was found hanging, the investigating team – consisting of local police and detectives from the state bureau of investigation – told the family that it had found no evidence of foul play. There was no mention of suicide, but the implication was clear. In later comments to a local paper, police chief Hunt said: “There are a lot of rumours out there. And 99.9% of them are false.”
Lennon Lacy was a budding star on his high school football team. He was entering his Junior year and had spent all summer training and working out to prepare for the season. His parents and the people in his neighborhood all describe him as a friendly, hardworking, focused young man with a dream of one day playing in the NFL. Why would he choose to take his life the morning of his first football game of the season?
In Bladenboro, a town of just 1,700 people – 80% white, 18% black – the reality of the bitter legacy of the South’s racial history is still very much alive. The local blacks have a nickname for the Bladenboro: they call it “Crackertown” in reference to its longstanding domination by white people. The events of 29 August have reopened the wound of that historical narrative, inevitably perhaps in a state in which 86 black people, reportedly were lynched between 1882 and 1968. While America debates whether it is moving into a post-racial age, the truth in Bladenboro is that the past is very much here and now, and that the terrible image of “strange fruit” will hover over this town for as long as the truth about Lennon Lacy’s death remains uncertain.
Then the details surfaced that for several months before he died, Lennon was in a relationship with a white woman, Michelle Brimhall, who lives directly opposite the Lacy family home. The relationship with Brimhall raised eyebrows because, at 31, she was almost twice his age. (The age of consent in North Carolina is 16.)
The Lacy family said that Brimhall had split up with Lacy a couple of weeks before he died and that she had a new boyfriend. But she denied that. “We were still together, I did not break up with him,” she said. “I had never had a man treated me as good as he did, and I probably will never find another.”
Since 1969 the ISUPK has been telling so called blacks, hispanics and native american indians that the white man is the devil the bible speaks of. There is no compromising, or coexisting with this beast. Everyone and their mother knows what happened to Lennon Lacy. He was lured away from his home in the middle of the night, grabbed up by some devils, beaten and hung in a very public place for everybody to see.
Deuteronomy 7:3 - Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
The Most High warned the children of Israel not to have sex, or make marriages with men and woman outside of the 12 tribes of Israel. Remaining separate from other nations was commanded by the Most High to keep us strong as a people. It is a sin against the Most High for a black man to lie down with a white woman. and in the case of Lennon Lacy it cost him his life.
What happened to this young brother is just another stark reminder of why a black man should never even look at a white woman. Emmett Till, Black Wall Street, Rosewood, and now this; perhaps if we separated from white people and left their dog slut of a woman alone, we could better protect ourselves against tragedies such as these.
Job 24:14 - The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
In the true spirit of the murderers that they are, they rise at night like a thief, and kill the poor and needy of our people. For 400 years the white man has been a murderous terror on the poor of our people; especially down in the rural south where the KKK hang and lynched blacks for fun in the years following slavery. What happened to Lennon Lacy is not a mystery.
“I know my son. The second I saw him I knew he couldn’t have done that to himself – it would have taken at least two men to do that to him.”
Lacy’s mother noticed what she describes as scratches and abrasions on his face, and there was a knot on his forehead that hadn’t been there the day before. In a photograph taken of Lacy’s body lying in the casket, a lump is visible on his forehead above his right eye. “From that point on it was just not real, like walking through a dream,” she said.
Jeremiah 8:21 - For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.
Every story such as this one hurts a real man of the Most High in Christ, for the pain a mother has to endure facing the injustice of having a child murdered with no one to answer for it. It is unbelievable that a black man could still be hung in 2014 and no one acts like it is a big deal. The life of every black, hispanic, or native American Indian senselessly stolen by the devil or any murderer should be an outrage to our entire nation.
Then there were those facial marks on his body. Even the undertaker, FW Newton Jr, who has worked as a mortician for 26 years, was taken aback by what he saw. Newton told the news reporters that when he received Lacy’s body two days after he died, he was struck by the abrasions he saw across both shoulders and down the insides of both arms. He also noted facial indentations over both cheeks, the chin and nose. Though police have told the Lacy family that ants were responsible for causing the marks, to Newton the state of the body reminded him of corpses he had embalmed where the deceased had been killed in a bar-room fight.
When the local Bladenboro police department, the district attorney and the state bureau of investigation were asked to respond to the allegation that they had conducted an inadequate investigation. They all declined to comment on the grounds that the investigation was ongoing. In a statement posted on the Bladenboro town website, the district attorney, Jon David, said that the “victims [sic] family, and the community, can rest assured that a comprehensive investigation is well underway. All death investigations, particularly those involving children, are given top priority by my office. Investigations are a search for the truth, and I am confident that we have a dedicated team of professionals, and the right process, to achieve justice in this matter.”
David said that his team was keeping the Lacy family and its representatives closely apprised of the investigation, and had met community leaders to explain to them the current state of affairs. But he added that “to date we have not received any evidence of criminal wrongdoing surrounding the death”.
Ecclesiastes 4:1 - So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.
With all the oppression that is done on the earth, there is no comforter for the oppressed of our people who aren't in the truth. There is no comforter for the parents of children like Lennon Lacy or Mike Brown. But the white man has the power of his corrupt gov't, crooked police, and unbalanced judicial system on his side.
Let's not allow another brother like Lennon Lacy lose his life unnecessary while the white man pretends as if he doesn't know what happened. This is why our people must return to the Most High and Christ. The unity that so called blacks, hispanics and Native American Indian people need is here in the ISUPK. Our comforter in these times is the spirit of the Most High to lead us back to obeying to his laws, statutes, and commandments. The only way we will receive justice for the crimes that have been committed against us is through serving the Most High.
