Man stabs 3-year-old daughter in murder-suicide

A Las Vegas man stabbed his 3-year-old daughter in the chest and then shot her mother before driving the bodies to a rural road where he shot himself in the head, according to police.

Veronica Erazo-Alderado, 30, told her boyfriend she was going to take her daughter to her ex-boyfriend's house before heading to work at a local hospital on Friday. When she didn't show up for her shift, her boyfriend told police he suspected foul play.

Police searched the home of her former boyfriend, Jesse Saldivar, Friday night after observing an excessive amount of blood in the property through a window. They tracked down Saldivar's vehicle near a desert stretch in west Las Vegas where they found all three bodies.

Investigators have concluded that Saldivar, 48, most likely stabbed his daughter, shot her mother in the chest and then carried the bodies into his vehicle. He then likely killed himself after parking the vehicle on the remote street more than three miles from his home.

Las Vegas police spokesman Jacinto Rivera said it's unclear why Saldivar committed the double murder-suicide. He did not have a criminal record in Las Vegas and there were no reported incidents of domestic abuse involving the couple.

Property records show a bank foreclosed on Saldivar's home in October, but he continued to live there.

Erazo-Alderado is survived by her 13-year-old son, who was searching for her last week, according to friend Srrgut Tessmen.

"He said, `have you seen my mom? We called everywhere, she didn't answer her phone,'" Tessmen told KTNV-TV in Las Vegas.

Deut 28:28- The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

Deut 28:29- And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save [thee].

Deut 28:34- So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
