Merriam Webster Dictionary: Winter - 1: The season between autumn and spring comprising in the northern hemisphere usually the months of December, January, and February or as reckoned astronomically extending from the December solstice to the March equinox
2 : The colder half of the year
3 : a period of inactivity or decay
As described by Websters Dictionary, the Winter season is the period of inactivity or decay for all those living in the earth's Northern Hemisphere. Bears go into hibernation, birds fly South to escape the cold, livestock is huddled into barns, while leave less trees stand stiff during these frozen months.
There exist for all living creatures on the planet earth, a universally accepted truth; a cycle exist, consisting of life and death, that none of us can escape. In nature, the cycle of life and death has a direct correlation with the weather. There is a season for every purpose under the sun (Ecc 3:1), and nothing is made new during the Winter.
Exodus 12:2 -This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
The Most High established what the new year should be for the nation of Israel when they came out of Egypt. Based on the cycles of the moon, the Hebrew calendar establishes the beginning of months, or first of the year to always occur in the Spring time. 14 days before the Passover, the first of the year as far as the Most High is concerned will be March 29, 2014.
Why then is everyone celebrating the New Year on January 1st?
Daniel 7:25 - And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Daniel prophesied the coming of the so called white man and the societal influence that was established through the Roman Empire. Through this Empire the white man has promoted great evil against the Most High, and set out to destroy the 12 tribes of Israel. Times have been changed, and the laws established by the Most High have been set aside while power is given to this devil to have authority on the earth for a period of time.
In 46 B.C.E. the Roman emperor Julius Caesar first established January 1 as New Year’s day. To honor Janus, the Roman god of doors and beginnings, Caesar felt that the month named after this god (“January”) would be the appropriate “door” to the year. In addition to changing the date of the new year from the Spring to Winter; the Romans later altered the beginning of a new day from Sundown (Gen 1:5) to the middle of the evening.
Amos 5:21 - I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
The Most High hates the so called White man's New Year's. All the customs associated with this holiday are connected to worship of idols in ancient times.
Roman pagans observed the New Year by engaging in drunken orgies—a ritual they believed constituted a personal re-enacting of the chaotic world that existed before the cosmos was ordered by the gods.
This custom of drunken orgies continues on today in cities all across the modern day Roman Empire, aka the Western world. The most iconic New Year’s tradition is the dropping of a giant ball in New York City's Times Square at the stroke of midnight. Millions of people around the world watch the event. Various towns and cities across America have developed their own versions of the Times Square ritual, organizing public drops of items ranging from pickles (Dillsburg, Pennsylvania) to possums (Tallapoosa, Georgia) at midnight on New Year’s Eve.
Exodus 20:3 - Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
The Most High commanded the Children of Israel, so called Blacks, Latinos, and Native American Indians not to have any other Gods before him.
If you celebrate New Year's on December 31-January 1st you are serving the god of the Romans. Prayers made at midnight on the night of Dec 31 are not prayers to the Most High. They are prayers made to Janus. Attending parties, getting drunk and high, making new years resolutions, are all sacrifices that are made to Janus.
Acts 5:29 - Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Obey the Most High, and not the so called white man. Nothing is made new in the dead of winter. The new year isn't until the Spring when the new cycle of life begins for all life on the planet earth. Don't get caught up in the evil of this society, in making sacrifices to false gods and participating in the evil being perpetuated by the devil today.
