N.A. preacher accused of touching girl inappropriately

A North Augusta pastor was detained on allegations that he inappropriately touched a 13-year-old girl he ministered to, according to the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.
Jerry Wilson Freeman, 61, of Ridgecliff Court in North Augusta, was charged with one count of lewd act on a minor and taken to the Aiken County detention center. A jail official said about 3 p.m. Friday that he had not been processed. North Augusta Public Safety officers first met with Freeman at his home on Jan. 1, according to a report. Freeman told them he is the 13-year-old victim's pastor, and that she and her younger brother were staying with him on weekends. The victim told officers she texted her uncle, the complainant, that Freeman touched her on her private parts.
About a week ago, Freeman took the victim and her brother to Chuck E. Cheese in Augusta, police said. He bought the younger brother some token to play games in the restaurant but told the female victim to stay in the car. Freeman returned to the car and showed the victim a condom.
“The victim stated Mr. Freeman began talking to her about sex and stated to her that he wanted her to be his 'boo,'” the report stated.
During another incident while the children were staying with him on New Years Eve, Freeman allegedly entered a locked room where the victim was sleeping and touched her on her private parts.
Freeman is a pastor at Solid Rock Tabernacle of Praise on Hemlock Drive in North Augusta.

Jeremiah 23
21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Titus 1:
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
