Police officer stuns 62-year old grandmother in her head

A police officer in Florida has been given paid administrative leave after an incident where many people feel that he should have been more severely punished.  The officer is accused of firing his stun gun and hitting a 62-year old grandmother in her head.   The event occurred in Tallahassee, Florida, a city within a state where police violence has been hevavily criticized for their treatment of African American citizens.

Tallahassee Police Chief Michael DeLeo said that video of what happened was taken by a neighbor who filmed everything from his porch.  He says that the video is disturbing enough for a deeper investigation.
“Based on the video, I have enough concerns to call for an internal investigation,” DeLeo said. “We will conduct a thorough investigation into this incident. We want to be transparent with the community by sharing what we can at this point, including the video.”
Police say that they were responding to drug deals taking place in the neighborhood.  People were complaining about the illegal activity, which led to the police presence.  Viola Young approached one of the officers to ask about one of the people who’d been arrested.  The officer told the woman to get back, but the other officer attempted to take the woman into custody.
It was during the apprehension when the officer stunned the woman.  She is going to be OK, but the incident has disturbed the surrounding community.  A deeper investigation is forthcoming

5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

James 2:
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
