Cosby's Rape Jokes

Shalam Israel, We are the original Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge, out of 1 West 125th St. Harlem, NYC, since 1969. The HOME OF THE TRUTH! In the Spirit of the Most High, in the name of Christ under Commanding General Yahanna, we have dedicated and hazarded our lives to bringing the 12 Tribes of the nation of Israel back to the Father in spirit and truth.  The people of Negro, and Indian descent, scattered throughout North, South, Central America and the West Indian Islands are the Lost 12 Tribes of Israel.  Wherever we are; in the ghettos, the barrios, the reservations or shanty towns; on the web, and in our everyday lives we strive to wake up our people.
No one likes to be the butt of anyone's joke. For a man who had spent the majority of his life telling them, the legacy of Bill Cosby is becoming just that, a joke. At 77 years old,  Cosby is in the twilight years of his life, and career that has spanned 3 decades. From his days of stand up comedy, headlining the Cosby show as tv's Cliff Huxtable, and being the spokesman of Jell-o, Cosby maintained the clean image of what a well educated black man could become in America.

That is until a few months ago when a series of rape, drugging, and sexual molestation accusations from 2004 began to resurface against the comedian. Ironically, a black comedian named Hannibal Buress put the Cosby rape allegations back into the media limelight with some jokes he told during a stand up set in Philadelphia. Bringing up the lawsuit that had been filed against Cosby, by one of his alleged victims, Hannibal Buress said "that sh*t is upsetting. If you didn’t know about it, trust me. You leave here and Google ‘Bill Cosby rape.’ It’s not funny. That sh*t has more results than Hannibal Buress."

Now there are few things is life, even for a comedian, that should be joked about or taken lightly. Rape and molestation accusations are at the top of that list. Few things in life are more traumatizing or devastating than being taken advantage of and abused sexually. In the instance of a lie, accusations could ruin the life, reputation, and take the freedom of the accused; and in the instances where it occurs the accuser is often scarred and affected for life.

Deuteronomy 22:25 - But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:
26 - But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27 - For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

According to the Most High, raping a woman (or man) is a death penalty offense that is equated with murder. In the instance of rape there is no guilt to be found with the victim, but it is stressed in the law that the victim must cry out against their accuser immediately.

The wisdom of this biblical law is what would make situations like the one surrounding Bill Cosby completely avoidable. In 2004 a woman filed suit against Cosby for battery, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, alleging that Cosby had drugged and raped her. Thirteen other women came forward with their own allegations and agreed to testify as witnesses if the suit went to trial. Cosby settled in 2006.

Now, if Bill Cosby had raped and abused these women, why didn't they cry out during their rape, or in the hours afterwards to have him arrested and thrown in jail? For some of these accusers, the length of time between the alleged abuse, and their coming forward is 15+ years. At this point one must call into question the motive, and or point to a lack of evidence as a reason to dismiss the allegations.

Unfortunately in America, a culture of keeping quiet about rape is very prevalent. In many cases, as with the Christian Church, and the black community as a whole perpetrators, of these heinous crimes go unpunished, and are never brought to justice for the trauma that their victims experience.

Deuteronomy 23:17 - There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

There should never be a prostitute or a sexually promiscuous woman among the daughters of Israel, and none of the men of our nation should ever have become a homosexual. Both of these sexual deviances are learned behaviors. No woman is born a hoe, the same way no man is born a homosexual. There is no coincidence that both of these expressions of sexuality have a direct correlation with rape and molestation.

Since the days of slavery, young black, Latino, and Native American Indian boys and girls have been sexually victimized. To the point where speaking about an uncle, cousin,  elder sibling, or authority figure sexually violating you or someone you loved became something that just never gets talked about.

In order to deal with and overcome the trauma of sexual abuse, a young boy will rationalize that his raper wasn't wrong, but because he's a gay, the rape is what he wanted. A young girl will do the same, and instead of understanding that the abuse she suffered was inappropriate, she'll live her life giving to men, the only thing she feels is of value, while never learning what she really is worth.

Isaiah 29:15 - Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord , and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

Destruction will come to those that do wickedness behind closed doors because they think no one is watching or that them never be caught.

Bill Cosby, just like the rapist and child molesters of the Roman Catholic Church settled out of court with his accusers back in 2006. If Cosby was not guilty of any of the allegations levied against him then why not go to court and fight to prove his innocence? The answer is because on some level, he is guilty. If not for rape and battery, than for having an insatiable lust for white whores.

For many years Bill Cosby has played the role of elderly scorn for so called blacks in America. Constantly dismissing the poverty, social destruction, and mental depravity that we've suffered at the hands of the white man as "excuses." He has always been a proponent of integration, and conformity to the standard established by white society. Well look at how it all turned out for Mr. Cosby. All the years of Cosby sweaters, zippity zop jokes and jello pudding pops, just to end up as the butt of a joke.
